World settings and tools

Manage world settings, save profiles and use the tools available to your account. Learn how test copies and the location finder work.

Personal and world settings

Open Settings for your own preferences, including view distance. Open This World for controls belonging to the current world. The menu shows the options you are allowed to use.

Available extras can include time, weather, difficulty, natural mob spawning, Keep Inventory, flight, night vision and spectator tools. Some require an active rank or unlocked extra.

Save a settings profile

A profile stores a group of world settings so you can apply them together. Default allowances are three profiles for Supporter and ten for Supporter+. Profiles use no world slots. Applying one checks your current permissions, including any extras that have expired.

Find a biome or structure

When available, the finder searches for a selection of nearby features and gives you coordinates. Its range is limited, so an empty result does not mean the feature is absent from the whole seed. Mansion and stronghold searches are not included in this finder.

Create a test copy

When unlocked, the owner can make a separate test copy from an active world. This needs a free permanent slot and a completed save of the world and inventory. Homes and invitations are not copied. Wait for the copy to finish before opening it.

The default rank setup includes test copies with Supporter+.
