Privacy Policy

Last updated: 8 October 2026

1. Controller and contact details

The controller responsible for processing personal data in connection with Xenonhead is:

Robin Günther
c/o COCENTER
Koppoldstr. 1
86551 Aichach
Germany

Email: info@xenonhead.com

This policy explains how personal data is processed when you visit xenonhead.com, browse our Minecraft seed database, use the seed map or contact us.

2. Hosting and server logs

Our website is hosted by:

STRATO GmbH
Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7
10249 Berlin
Germany

STRATO operates the hosting infrastructure in Germany.

When you access the website, technical connection and request data is processed to deliver its content. This includes your IP address and the requested page or file. Depending on the request, further information can include the time of access, browser information, referring page and technical response information.

This processing serves the delivery, stability and security of the website. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and our legitimate interest in operating a reliable website and preventing misuse.

According to STRATO, visitors’ full IP addresses are retained for a maximum of seven days to detect and prevent attacks.

STRATO also makes access logs available for the preceding six weeks. IP addresses or client hostnames in these logs are anonymised by STRATO. Aggregated graphical statistics remain available for several years. Error logs available through the hosting dashboard cover the preceding 24 hours.

These hosting functions operate on server requests. We do not embed additional visitor-tracking tools or advertising pixels in our pages.

Further information: STRATO privacy information.

3. Browser storage and navigation

The seed database uses your browser’s session storage and history to preserve your place when you open a seed detail page and return to the results.

The stored navigation information includes the results-page address, selected filters, search term, page number, scroll position and a timestamp. Its purpose is to restore the results and position you previously selected.

Session storage normally lasts for the current browser-tab session. Depending on your browser’s settings, it may be retained when a previous session is restored. Our return-navigation function ignores entries older than 24 hours; this does not itself delete those entries.

You can remove this information through your browser’s website-data settings. Restricting storage may prevent the previous results or scroll position from being restored.

This storage is used for the requested navigation functions under section 25(2), no. 2 of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG). Where personal data is involved, processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and our legitimate interest in providing these functions.

The navigation data is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

4. Seed searches and the seed map

When you search the Minecraft seed database or change its filters, the search parameters are transmitted to our server to retrieve the requested results.

The seed map’s world calculations run locally in your browser. The necessary map engine and scripts are served from this website.

Seed numbers and map settings can be included in the page address. Opening or reloading such an address can transmit those parameters to the web server, where they may appear in access logs. Anyone receiving a shared link can also see the information included in that link.

This processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and our legitimate interest in providing the search and map functions you choose to use.

Technical connection data is necessary to deliver the website. Entering search terms, selecting filters and using the map are optional.

5. YouTube, TikTok and other external links

Our website contains links to YouTube, TikTok, Bluvya and other external websites.

The YouTube preview on the homepage uses a thumbnail hosted on our own website. It links to YouTube and does not embed a YouTube player. Merely viewing the preview does not establish a connection to YouTube.

Our social-media links are ordinary links and do not load social-media widgets.

When you follow an external link, the destination website receives the technical information needed to establish the connection, including your IP address. Depending on the provider, further processing may take place outside the European Economic Area.

The privacy information published on the destination website explains the processing performed there.

6. Contact by email

Our email mailbox is hosted by STRATO GmbH, at the address given in section 2.

If you email us, we process your email address, any name you provide, the message, attachments and associated technical email information to handle your enquiry and necessary follow-up.

The legal basis for general correspondence is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and our legitimate interest in communicating with people who contact us. Where processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, including handling applicable data-protection requests, Article 6(1)(c) GDPR applies.

We retain correspondence for as long as necessary to resolve the matter and complete related follow-up. It is then deleted unless a legal retention obligation or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims requires continued storage.

Providing information by email is voluntary. Without sufficient contact information and details of the matter, we may be unable to respond.

7. Postal correspondence

We use COCENTER GmbH, Koppoldstr. 1, 86551 Aichach, Germany, to receive postal correspondence.

The provider receives, opens and scans letters addressed to us and makes the scans available in a protected customer account. Sender details, letter contents and information about other people mentioned in a letter may be processed.

According to COCENTER, original letters are retained for six months and then destroyed. Scans remain available until account closure or a deletion request, subject to lawful retention requirements.

We arrange deletion of correspondence and scans when they are no longer needed, subject to the retention criteria described in section 6.

The legal bases are Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for handling correspondence and, where applicable, Article 6(1)(c) GDPR for complying with legal obligations.

8. Service providers and international processing

The hosting, email and postal-service providers described above process information where necessary to provide their respective services. They may use technical subcontractors for infrastructure, storage and backups.

Website and email hosting through STRATO takes place in Germany.

COCENTER states that it uses Dropbox Business for cloud storage and backups. Depending on the processing involved, this can include processing outside the European Economic Area.

Dropbox describes international processing, including in the United States, and transfer mechanisms such as standard contractual clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, where applicable, in its privacy information.

Further information is available in the COCENTER privacy policy and the Dropbox privacy policy. You can contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your correspondence and to request a copy where applicable.

Personal data may also be disclosed to authorities or courts where a legal obligation requires this.

9. Your data-protection rights

Subject to the applicable statutory conditions, you have the right to:

  • Obtain access to your personal data and a copy of it.
  • Have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected.
  • Request deletion of your data.
  • Request restriction of processing.
  • Receive or transfer data where the requirements for data portability are met.

Right to object: Where processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will stop the processing unless overriding lawful grounds or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims justify continuing it.

If processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.

To exercise your rights, contact info@xenonhead.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority, particularly in the EU Member State of your habitual residence, place of work or the alleged infringement.

In Bavaria, you can contact:

Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht (BayLDA)
Postfach 1349
91504 Ansbach
